So it is that time of the year where vehicles get another tuning and generally it is in the wrong direction as per usual.

1. We had this many many moons ago, we had active repair modules which could rep back 6k in armor over a period of time and they worked but got removed completely due to a stupid rebalance, we had active armor hardeners which were perfectly fine but again got reworked for bad players.
2. Welcome back to 2013/14 where after months and months of feedback from vehicle pilots who kept on repeating telling CCP that Caldari wasnt good enough compared to the Gallente and you only just figure this out and the kicker is you even did a vehicle rework and still got it wrong and still do.
3. Dropships are okay - Wrong again, as a pilot nothing renders unless i am directly on top of them which means i cannot see where the threats are and that includes swarms chasing my ass catching me up consistantly which still do not render. 3a. About 4 years too late for this buff but then again you did take away the Vehicle engineering skill which used to provide 5% per level to PG so you caused the problem yourself yet again. 3b. Swarms are too strong - Slow clap, do they render yet? No good if i cant see where they are being fired from, do they still go through walls? No good if i cannot use cover, do they do 720deg spins on the spot and set off at max speed? do they still have terrible tracking where they track where the vehicle used to be then follow where the vehicle went to which means it can avoid cover?
4. Bollocks - It is easy if you are not a bad player, dropship pilots dont even see you until the last moment because you do not render and your swarms are broken anyways with avoiding cover, going through walls, not rendering etc

Simply increasing the weak spot on HAVs considerably will allow dedicated AV and other vehicles to use positioning, speed and skill to heavily change the outcome of each encounter without having an effect on Dropships.
Skill based is not swarms, skill based is not AV grenades, skill based is not auto homing weapons which a blindman can operate and not miss.
Even the FG is nice and easy to use, by increasing the weakspot it makes it even easier to kill HAVs and they are already easy to kill.
As for speed the majority complain they are too fast, as for positioning it is not like i get a damage reduction for angling my HAV and for skill you must be joking, i can aim with my blaster and the dot so you remove it and make it RNG based, i can control 6 active modules so you remove half of them and nerf the rest while nerfing vehicles and the module count. There is no skill involved anymore you made it casual and nerfed anything intresting into the ground or flat out removed it.

Have you heard the quote 'Don't bring a knife to a gunfight' well now its 'Bring a knife to a HAV fight' because why not, they already ignore lore on such a massive scale that vehicles are screwed anyways so what does it matter when every weapon on the field can damage a HAV, did you see that Al-quaeda member rip apart that Challenger II tank with a knife but failed when they fired 70 RPGs at it?

Not really since once the shield damage threshold has been reached it will not recharge any shield which still makes it very weak where as the Madrugar will continue to rep through damage once again.

CCP too busy breaking HAVs so there is no chance they will even look to fixing ADS but you are spot on with the problems, expect a hotfix in 2 years time admitting that they know about the problem but will continue to do nothing about it.

You stop the regen of the shield and its dead, even if you use that booster if it actually works which is not certain it will start the shield recharge but another hit from AV can stop it and you are down a booster and back to square one, add in the new multipliers and all AV and even non AV such as a ******* knife which i use to spread butter on my toast will cause damage and kill it even quicker.
Just dont show the battery when you run away because now it is even easier to OHK a tank with a FG, the BFG used to do that anyways and that was at prototype but now with the new multipliers even easier.
Also forgot to mention the CPU/PG modules are actually a must have for any fit in most cases because HAV and also ADS are lacking in PG/CPU but that is also CCP fault since they removed various skills which allowed us more PG/CPU or PG/CPU saving on some modules. That is right vehicles rely on these modules, they are not an option but a must have to even have any kind of decent tank.
Also suicide LAV can kill that also.

With the buffer of the extender and an always on hardener, getting one shot is remote. By staying mobile, hit chances go down, and swarms can be regen tanked. Honestly, it is a beast anti infantry fit, and pairing it with either another one just like it, or even better a high dps rail fit, and you can wipe the board. Take it for a spin before you judge it.
I have driven it, i have AV killed it.
It still is subpar against any Madrugar fit which btw could also kill both tanks.
